Confederate Home Wedding Charleston, SC

Here are a few shots of a wedding that I helped set up with Social Event Design, a wedding and event planning company owned by my BFF Sarah Bradley. It was a small intimate affair with a touch of romance and Charleston charm. I had a blast! Thank you Sarah for the opportunity!

Ceremony site at twilight.

The drawing room before we worked our magic!

and after!

We also arranged all the flowers! Sarah chose the perfect combination of flowers and greenery to bring southern charm and romance to the table.

Pretty common things

Sometimes I'll see an opportunity to capture the beauty of something that I would normally overlook. The light will hit something in just the right way that I stop, run and get my camera and take a picture because I know it will be gone in a few moments. I love these little sparks of beauty in my day to day and am appreciative of how I gain a new perspective on this world we live in. Here's a few examples.....

A cappuccino I made one morning.

Water falling in the kitchen sink.

A leaf that was "floating" outside our patio door. If you look closely you can see the spider web its hanging from.

My first "paid" job!

Sarah, my BFF, owns her own Event planning business based out of Charleston, SC. Luckily I was able to meet her in Orlando in time to sit in on her first consultation with our friend Shanelle who recently got engaged. Sarah will be planning her wedding which I know will be beautiful! Sarah asked if I could take a few shots of the process for use on her website. They paid me with huevos rancheros and a delicious raspberry mimosa! Thank you Sarah and Shanelle! Here are some of the photos.......

Rebecca
